EMDR Level 2 (Child & Adolescent)
11 - 13 November, Adelaide
This training gives you the knowledge and confidence to adapt EMDR into your clinical work with children & adolescents who present with complex, comorbid trauma presentations. This training focuses on AIP case conceptualisation for complex PTSD and comorbid presentations, and on fidelity to the standard EMDR protocol. This training includes advanced EMDR preparation and resourcing skills, techniques for dissociation, interweaves, blocks in reprocessing, and EMDR protocols that can be adapted with various client presentations & populations across the life span.
Level 2 Child Focused Training is:
- Three day in-person workshop 11th - 13th November 2026
Preworkshop
- 2 hrs of facilitated online practicum on 4th November 12 - 2pm (ACDT)
EMDR Basic Training is for eligible therapists looking to learn EMDR therapy. To check that you are eligible to be trained in EMDR therapy, please check the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA) eligibility before registering.
EMDR Therapy trainings will meet AHPRA Guidelines for Continuing Professional Development.
