EMDR Consultation is an available option to purchase as part of your training experience to complete EMDR Basic training requirements.
The Format of EMDR consultation is that it is delivered online and meets the requirements set by the EMDR Association of Australia of 4 people per hour.
The Aim of EMDR consultation is to consolidate knowledge and skills learnt in EMDR training. It also aims to build confidence and competence in the integration of EMDR into your clinical practice in a safe and effective way with complex client presentations.
Our Team of EMDR consultants are experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults. Each consultant is integrative in their approach to EMDR, creative, flexible, warm, attuned, and will create a consultation learning environment that will ensure you have the best support in integrating EMDR therapy into your clinical practice with your client presentations and populations.
The Dates for our Consultation sessions are from Monday to Friday, with at least 15 sessions held each month. The times vary across the working day, with facilitators all acorss Australia providing times that will meet your needs. All times are shown in our online scheduling calander that can be accessed upon purchase. When scheduling through our online calendar your chosen consultation sessions times will all be shown in your local time zone.
Consultation Hours are currently only available to purchase with an EMDRTTA Training Workshop registration or training bundles.

About Logan
Logan is a Clinical Psychologist whose work focuses on treating the impacts of trauma.
Logan has a particular interest in the treatment of co-occurring addiction and mental health conditions, with a focus on trauma-related disorders.
Logan’s clinical work is grounded in research, and he is an active researcher in the areas of substance use and trauma-related disorders.
He is a contributing author to multiple chapters in the Oxford Handbook of EMDR Therapy and is the past chair of the EMDR Association of Australia’s Accreditation and Standards Committee, where he oversaw the standards and requirements for the accreditation of EMDR training and practice in Australia.
Logan continues to support the EMDR community in Australia through his work with EMDRAA, both on the Accreditation & Standard Committee, and also the Scientific Committee.
About Sarah
Sarah is a clinical psychologist who works across the lifespan.
Sarah is published and is an accredited trainer and consultant in the area of EMDR and trauma therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Sarah is an editor of the Oxford Handbook of EMDR Therapy, she has contributed to the ISTSS (2020) international guidelines for PTSD, is an editor for the Journal of EMDR Practice and Research, and a contributing author to the EMDR textbook (Shapiro, 2018).
Sarah values flexibility and groundedness in theoretical knowledge in her approach to healing. WIth training in such things as synergetic play therapy, sensorimotor psychotherapy, mindfulness, schema therapy, polyvagal approaches, Sarah innovatively integrates mind & body therapeutic approaches with authenticity and compassion. She's a mum of three gorgeous kids, loves sport and her garden!

Kelly is a Clinical Psychologist and Accredited Consultant with experience supporting individuals across a range of settings, including custodial environments, schools, public mental health services, and private practice.
Kelly works across the lifespan, & has specialised training in EMDR consultation for children, adolescents, & families. Her approach is grounded, authentic, & deeply informed by her connection to Ngarluma (Roebourne) Country in the Pilbara region of W.A. Kelly embraces a healing paradigm that reflects the core principles of polyvagal theory—drawing on the strength of self, the grounding presence of Country, and the power of kinship & connection to support growth, understanding, and meaningful change.
When not working, Kelly finds renewal in the vastness of Country, where blue skies, sunshine, & stillness offer space for reflection and healing.

Melanie is a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience.
She trained in Germany at the University Koblenz-Landau, before moving to Australia in 2002. Having worked in both Public Health and Private Practice settings, she is dedicated to providing best practice, evidence-based treatment to patients experiencing mental health problems.
Melanie is an Accredited EMDR consultant, as well as an ISST Accredited Schema Therapist. She works with a variety of mental health presentations, and has a particular interest in treating trauma, personality disorders and substance use disorders. She engages both in her own clinical practice, as well as providing supervision and EMDR consultation to individuals and groups.
Outside of work, Melanie’s passions are running, travel as well as cooking and enjoying good food.

Janine is a Clinical Family Therapist, Accredited EMDR Consultant, and former Music Therapist with over 20 years’ experience supporting children, adolescents, & families.
Janine is passionate about helping those who have experienced developmental and relational trauma, including abuse, neglect, family violence, and pre-verbal trauma such as adoption and state care.
Into EMDR, Janine weaves in play and creative arts therapies, Polyvagal, IFS, and sensorimotor approaches to support healing in a safe, connected way. She values authentic, collaborative relationships & works closely with families, schools, & systems to create shared understanding and change. Janine has presented on EMDR and playful family therapy at conferences, facilitates EMDR trainings since 2019, and is published in journals on homelessness, family violence, and music therapy. Beyond work, Janine loves quiet moments in her veggie garden and spending time at the beach or in the bush with her husband, kids, and their dog.
